REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE PULL TAB GEAR DIRT HOUNDS SEEDED BEACH HUNT - SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2025

Metadetect.ca and Forest City Metal Detectors created PULL TAB GEAR a little over a ago and we want to celebrate with you by hosting our first ever PTG Dirt Hounds Seeded Beach hunt, in southwestern Ontario this fall. We hope you can make it!

WHEN, WHERE AND WHAT TIME? 

Event Date: Saturday September 20th (Rain or Shine)

Time: 9:30am - 5pm (Registered participants to sign in between 9:30 - 10:30)

Location: Erieau Beach 1222 Mariners Road, Blenheim ON, N0P 1A0

TWO HUNT STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM FOR THE DAY!

1. NOVICE HUNTER PACKAGE $50: This hunt is geared to any participant ages 8 and up who are just starting out or is wanting to try a seeded hunt for the first time. This package includes 3 progressive seeded hunts seeded with world coins, costume jewelry and prize tokens, PLUS a bonus hunt, PLUS a free swag bag valued at $30, PLUS a free hunt t-shirt valued at $30, PLUS lunch.

2. SEASONED HUNTER PACKAGE $120: This hunt is a more competitive hunt style, geared to participants ages 13 and up who at an intermate or higher skill level, even a beginner wanting to give it a try. This package includes 3 progressive seeded hunts, seeded with world coins, vintage tokens, mid level prizes, main prizes, silver and gold! PLUS a free swag bag valued at $30, PLUS an extra special hunt shirt valued at $50, PLUS lunch.

HUNT RULES:

• No Side Baskets or Cages permitted. We we welcome the use of pouches to hold your trash and treasure.
• No Pulse Induction (PI) detectors permitted
• Coil size may not exceed 15"
• Headphones are required for each hunt
• Pinpointers, plastic or metal scoops are allowed
• Please set your detector to single frequency if possible. Multi Frequency can be chaotic with this many detectors.
• Always fill your holes to keep the hunt area safe.

GENERAL RULES:

• All children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. This is a large event with a lot of people and is being held near water, please keep your children close. If you are bringing children that will be participating in the novice hunt while you are participating in the seasoned hunt, they will be safe and within eyeshot of your hunt field. if you are bringing children that will not be participating in the hunts, make sure you have someone watching them while you hunt. 
• This is a ZERO TOLERENCE EVENT. Absolutely no bullying, harassment or physical altercations will be tolerated. Anyone violating the zero tolerance policy will be removed from the event. 
• Have fun and treat everyone with respect. 
• Keep It Clean. If you make a mess, clean it up.
